So here is this weeks contribution:
Unfortunately the pictures did not transfer. I found a picture of the U.S.S. Truxtun and a picture of Balboa Park. Most of his entries had a couple of things in common....Tracting part of the day, scripture study and visiting saints and investigators. Surprisingly, they went to movies and shows, went out to eat and played tennis and stuff. He did document cleaning the house, renting a room for $8.00 a month. He had moments of discouragement and his first street meeting that no one was around. I guess instead of giving Bof M's away they loaned them. As far as journal writing goes, he did document every day but very brief entries with not much substance. Very similar to my Grandma and Grandpa Saunders missionary journal of 1940ish. in Galesburg, Ill.
