May 15/33 – Cook for the week. Tracted all morning on 30th and University. Ate dinner at 3443 30th Ave. at Mabel Thompson. Spent the afternoon in National City visiting saints and investigators.

May 16/33 –Tracting all morning. Visited R.S. at National City and visited investigators all afternoon. Studied Gospel. Met a sailor “Mormon” on the “U.S.S. Truxtun”

May 17/33 – Tracted all morning. Good conversation. Studied this afternoon on talk. Went to my first cottage meeting at Bro Tylers in Incineter, California. Was complimented for my bravery in talking.

May 18/33 – Tracted in morning. Studied this afternoon for talk in the cottage meeting. Went visiting saints and inverstigators in National City. Cottage meeting in National City at Sister Trinsley. I talked on baptism.

May 19/33 – Tracted all morning. Best morning spent in tracting since I came out. Had 3 investigators and loaned one Book of Mormon. And what a thrill to meet someone who is considerate to read the B of M.

May 20/33 – Today is Saturday and wash day along with other chores that came on this day. Held a picnic at Balboa Park. Sister’s Nelson, Bransted and Peart, Bro Peart, President Aagard and Elder Chency. Had wonderful time playing ball and visiting Musuem. Wrote letter to the following people Sister Musser, Brown and to mother. Made out expense account and report for week.

Balboa Park…Casa del Prado Building…this might have been one of the attractions that they visited in 1933.

May 21/33 – Got up at 6:45 went to Sunday School in East San Diego, Calif. Sunday School Cohnference. Ate dinner at Bro and Sis Orvine in National City. Attended Sacrament Service at 7:30 in San Diego.

May 22/33 – Tracting until noon. Got ready to leave for Julian, California. Arrived there 3:30 p.m. Held meeting at W. Marlet’s Home. Stayed all night at Julian. A town high up in the mountains 4300 ft Elevation.

May 23/33 – Woke up at Willie Marlet’s cottage, not any blankets. Ate breakfast and spent entire day visiting saints and investigators. Ate dinner at Mrs. Lux's Ranch. Came home and attended M.I.A. Banquet. Made out reports and wrote in diary. Also spent an half hour studying the scriptures. Got a nice sweetest letter from mother yesterday.
