My husband put me in charge of food storage. I have always hated planning ahead. I am more of a moment by moment type of person. I am good at the buying food, not so good at the using of the food. When I was putting away the new stash of food items, my daughter found bottled peaches from 2005 that I had forgotten that I had. Now they are definitely not on my diet. "So the question is, who is going to help me eat my fruit," said the little red hen.
My girls went to the storage area to get something to eat the other day, and absolutely refused to eat the brand of chili that I had there. I thought that was a little bold. They said Nalley's was the only brand worth eating. Who would have thought that any of my children had become such chili experts, considering I never feed them chili while they were at home. My husband loves Wendy's chili, but I explained that simply as being cheap. I decided I had better try Nalley's myself so I had a taste test. Conclusion: I think I'll stick with Ragu as my food storage meal of choice.
