I just heard the most amazing statistic. Half the world consists of mothers and the other half are related to them. In that case, think of the power mothers have!
I worked really hard to become a mother. I dreamed of being a mother. I watched my own mother carefully. I learned to cook and sew and clean from her. I also kept a detailed list of the things I wouldn't do when I became one. I knew that I would be the best mother ever.
So when that time came in life I thought I was ready. Two problems quickly became evident. One was that my husband had different experiences and had his own list. And my children were all different than the kids my mom raised. What's up with that! Life is suppose to go as planned.
Now my children are raised.....I realized another startling fact: Being a mother never ends!

I never dreamed about it, I just expected that is where my life would end up. I was right! Of course, I didn't make a list of how I would do things; I use the trial and error method.
